Disaster Preparedness Training

The Directorate of Samoohika Sannadha Sena and the District Disaster Management Authority, Kottayam is organizing a series of Disaster Preparedness Trainings for around 1000 Social Volunteers of the district. The district-level inauguration of the same would be held on November 22 at Maman Mappila Hall at 9.30 am.
The exercise is aimed to equip the participants to be prepared for dealing with any probable disasters, for imparting preventive measures, and for empowering them to take necessary actions during a crisis.

Trainings will be conducted at taluk levels.
November 22 – Mamman Mappila Hall, Kottayam;
November 23 – Njeezur Gram Panchayat Hall, Vaikom;
November 24 – Chirakadavu Gram Panchayat Hall, Kanjirapally;
November 25 – Changanassery Municipal Community Hall, Changanassery;
November 26 – Pala Municipal Town Hall, Meenachil.
